I was getting excited to see the targeted brand kopi on sales...
so i get a full trolley of it..

my fren said "Now you know why the other day u saw people bough so many tin of biscuit"

信心?神秘?

圣诞节玩了一个叫天使和摩哒　(Angel & Mortal) 交换礼物的游戏．．
在十二月头我们以抽签方式，选了自己的 摩哒．．
游戏规则很简单。。
神秘的我们要买神秘礼物给自己的摩哒．．
尽可能不让他人知道自己的摩哒是谁．．
最好别让摩哒知道谁是他的天使．．
我是很神秘的人难不得我．．

但我没想到原来到最后还是要站出来让摩哒知道她的天使何许．．
也真没想到原来要我站出来承认自己是他人的天使是那么高难度..

简直是难倒了我..
我亦然尝试抹视一切..
假装在拍照..
其实内心在挣扎着．．
很紧张．．
其实是很简单的事;我把它复杂化了．．．
再有可能是自己失去了信心．．
我一再想为什么？
有时会觉得那就是自己．．
我喜欢神秘？

Today breakfirst

I learnt there is new place for breakfast in town.
Famous with it Fried roti with egg & others...

Happily my frens and I ventured into Macalister Lane.
Just off Jalan Burmeh on the left if you are from Komtar.
Looking for Sin Seow Fong Lye Cafe.

You wont miss the cafe even you made a wrong turn.
Because it was full house when we reached there at around 10.

While looking for a place to sit..
I found that among the popular food on each table were..
Har Mee, Choo Cheong Fen, Char Kwey Kat and the roti..

Well..My comment of the food...

Char Kwey Kat arrived first..
and actually we were waiting for it to arrive..
Too long q...too many orders..
A lot of tauke (bean sprout) that was the first thing I noticed..
My opinion is the dish is a bit too wet
and lacking of the chai pui taste..
which is the main taste of char kwey kat..
it was quite big plate for 2.40RM.
but i still prefer the kwey kat @ Lip Sin Old Market..

Then came the fried roti with egg..
it has some sugar sprinkled on top..
1 slice costs about 1.20RM.
It was actually ok..
Not as oily as i tot...
i seldom eat this..
but my fren commented it is quite nice






I have eaten once 'pale' Fried kwey Tiaw at Sunway..
Most probably the uncle forgotten to put some dark soya source..
However it tasted nice..
Well, today char kwey tiaw..
Yes, it was 'pale'..
base on previous experience i wasnt really sceptical about it at first
But disappointingly not only it tasted overly burnt...
but no taste but burnt!
my fren commented it is carbon char kwey tiaw..

I wasn't really too fond on Penang Choo Cheong Feng except the one at Old Lip Sin Market (again?)
But you could see each table sure has a plate at least of these thing so i ordered a big one for share..RM2.40.
The Her Kor taste is just too fishy, and strong smell..
well otherwise it wont be called as her kor right?
Anyway I still prefer the aunty selling outside old lip sin market..
and my frens still prefer the one at Little Genting at Glugor..
but i will say if you are going for the 'feng' then yes it is a lot softer and smoother..
but surely not the souces..






I din have the picture of the kwey kat..
coz at that moment I never tot of writing this entry..
in fact i took all the photos half way through the meal...
when I decided to make a comment here... :-p

Seriously a lot of pple are having breakfast here...

Face Waxing

I went 磨皮.(mo pi)

Google 磨皮 return nothing..
i think it is face waxing..rub and polish ur face..

Yes.. i went facial
sign a package 2 years back now is time to clear it before expire..

I never did that before.. (obviously)
so i was thinking are they going to use something rough to rub my face?
u know like during school time we used rough paper polishing wood work and applying wax polish..
I curious how the wood polishing steps able to apply on face?


The facial sensei tried explain to me it would be operated by a machine..
Machine?
This is very funny..
I always relate machine as a huge thing operates like robot.
so it is kinda scary using 'machine' rubbing and polishing my face? 磨皮?
My face is BIG...?!
I got a feeling kinda regretted..
May be unease shows on my face ...
i don know how...i cant see..
my eyes were covered with cottons
she started to tell me good thing about the treatment..
then when ready she pushed the 'machine' in finally..

Oooo... a machine...
no, not big.. small only..
smaller than washing machine..
And it got a few 'hangers'..
she told me it it multi functional machine for face lifting..
for me who knows nothing just nodding..

'rubbing' just use a small part of it..
and when she showed me...
"huh, so small?" I said..
"Ya, ur face not big"...
haha..
it was about the size of ear thermometer
those that will have a "dat" sound when doc takes temperature...

and it is not exactly rubbing...
it is a suction.. operates like vacuum cleaner..
move over face surface by applying some force, and it does the vacuuming...
sucking the dirt..

i felt myself funny...
i got it all wrong.. ..
she puzzled to see me laughing and smiling myself...
haha..

Phone SMS

Moving into hi-tech world...
while a lot of pple are carrying handphone now..
so do I and the kids


A bunch of us, while walking in shopping complex were surprise to found out that public phone actually has sms functionality..

Not sure how much does it cost but at least more than 20c.. :-p

it sounds scarely.. but it is happening..
it seems that i am not only have my soul and mind separeted.
It seems more parts of me gone separeted this new years..

Is it reflecting that so little time and yet so many things that you wanna do?
or simply that I am just lazy to move around..

梦想

才踏近社会工作时
曾经友人问过 "Do you have a dream, what is your dream?"
“你的梦想是什么？”

我那时想得很远。。
“我的梦想是我将来要一个人快乐的住在深山的小木屋里”
“一个人？”
：-)
接了一句 "自生自灭" 哈哈...

说完后觉得自己有点没得志。。 :-)
但要放弃物质生活其实是不容易吧。。
我也不知道为何会有那样的梦想。。

有时候我会梦想背着背包流浪去。。自由自在
把世界看完。。
当然那是看不完的。。
那是用心去体会。。

我很佩服那些背包旅者的勇气。。
放下一切。。 从零开始。。
或者当我放弃一切过着自由自在流浪四方的生活后。。
我深山小木屋会实现吧。。。

2009.1.1 ..

It has been a while for me tried to create a blog here..
just couldnt find a suitable addy that i wanted..
Name it looks simple but headache..

Then today, when I was amusing myself at my old blog..
I was just simply feeling a bit bored with the name ...
So decided to think hard with a new bloggy name...

Year 2009 I wish to have a simple and happy life..
So it is Just Simple and Happy living..

A fabulous 2008

A lot of good memories in 2008

I visited Tokyo early of the year.
Spent the day in the only, DisneySea. It is cool & cold.
Have my first snowboarding experience with the Jap.
Isnt it fun and wonderful?

I have seen how hokkian pple celebrating the Qiu Wang Ye.
Though I spent my 3 years + in Klang and 4 years in Penang.
I have never see how Hokkian celebrated the ceremony..
I only heard and listen to the cracker and smelt the smoke..and dream on..

308 a date that we shall not forget.
A change that we wanted. The rakyat voted.
I didnt vote.
But I felt the strong voting spirit and excitement for the first time during the voting season.

So, did I have a good start?
I believe I did.
Without realising the time flies..
I step into Zone 3 with a cake 'flew' up from KL,
a surprise bouquet with celaka note, and many more ..
then we hung over at my house...
We were having so much fun.. and thank you for making it another better day..

Name about sports..
Ppl will alway surprisely stare at me "You don know how to swim?"
OK. now I am proud to tell you "I know how to swim"
I surprisely joint the swimming lesson..
10 hours, 10 lesson, once a week..
Kids also know how to do math.
However it took us 5 months to complete the 10 hours..
how determination we were..and how precious the time is..

And it was also the first time i felt phobia with sport after continuously week after weeks involvement in various sports

then i went travelling again...
achieving one of my targets of accompany my parents for a trip..
We went North.. Chiang Mai..
A beautiful and peaceful place..

Then I was so busy to challenge the impossible
which finally yield great job satisfaction..
started beautifully and ended nicely..
wishing more to come...

The last day of 2008..
I am sitting here writing this entry..
I am not bore..
It is something else..
Hoping for something..
Yet asking for solitude..

My soul and my mind have gone separated.... :-)
