Its fantastic and amusing..

What so amusing about it?
because it is a fan with no blades, no buffeting.


so how does it work?

Practicing 'pensioner' life..
Relaxing at Winter Warmers Coffee & Tea House..
searching the peace of mind..
and calm of soul..

Though with the tropical hot & humid weather,
sometimes I still prefer outdoor seats..
Enjoying the the natural sunlight & breeze..
the only drawback would be 2nd hand smoke, hazadours to the health..

Been to Winter Warmer once for tea break..
It registered in my memory as a very nice place..
I cant recall what has impressed me..
so am here for my lunch break..
Lunch Set tuna waffle + tea..

Do I have the look of coffee drinker instead of tea?
While taking order the waiter asked me twice
"Do you want to change the drink?"

Winter Warmers doesnt sound like a name for coffee..
I thanks for the offer.

The tuna waffle is BIG ..
I thought of asking my next door patron if he would like to join me.. :-p
Well, that would be awkward thinking,
So the idea stay in my mind till I finished the meal.
It was a delicious tuna waffle..



Enjoying the darjeeling black tea while reading the magazine I just bough..
Once a while enjoying the colorful crowd passing by.
Pretty and handsome. Old and young.

What made Winter Warmers so special?
hahaha...
The waiters are friendly.
They are all waiters.. no sight of waitress.. :-p
Importantly they all have sweat smile and handsome looked. hahahaha
They are humour too and kind hearted..
The way they present themselves..
Very relaxing and sunshine..
(i saw one or two of them so..
i assume all waiters are like that la :-p)

A worthy lunch... :-p

Then, 2 pretty teenagers join me, they sit next table..
I am glad to see there are pple (females) who shared the same thought like me choosing outdoor seat..

Well.. not long my enjoyment turn into 'day'mare..
which ended my lunch break earlier..

One of them is smoker..
seriously polluted my peaceful breeze
so i think we do not share the same enjoyment..

A true life..

Hospital Joke

Finally step into the hospital again..
the last time I were in hospital for my own good was 7 years back..

so wasnt too familiar with procedure..
i only know..
I need pre-admission then do scanning.
so.. here is the conversation while preparing doc for pre-admission
between the nurse and me

Me: "What time i should come?"
Nurse: "I will check with the insurance co, if they approved this"
Me : "OK"
Nurse: "Tomorrow here half day. I will check. Then i will give you a call"
Me : "OK."

though i said OK but in my mind it was like hundred of ???.

So i asked again.
Me :" so if they reject i need not to come?"

LOL..... i wasnt feel so funny abt it when i asked..
it was only after i came out from the Hospital..
when i thought it back.. i really feel funny myself..
i don know what the nurse think..
may be she think "huh? this is nothing to do with approve or not.. its all depend on you.. wanna come and pay for it.. " :-p

i think she really felt amused or shock..

i remember her replied... "i will tell you if they approved or reject.if reject you have to make a decision."

hehehee..
excuse me.. i really never thought of it..
the previous time i admitted was emergency.. :-p

bad thing about medical card.. :-p
last time i need not to gone throught this hassle..

血拼 14 Hours @ Hatyai

i think thailand and me 情有独钟。。
for the passed 4 years i have enter into various parts of thailand..
phuket, bangkok,chiang mai and just recently i have a day trip to Hatyai...

It was a spontaneous trip calling up by my fren..
i plainly agreed despite the pile of bugs list in the project..

on the eve of the trip i started having doubt about it..
pre-trip panic symptom.. :-p
i was hesitated what the hell am I doing?
gotta wake up at 5am??!!
which potentially ended up in a road jam for most if the time..
that is torturing...!!!

anyway.. it seems the angel of mine has work mightyly..
i had awaken up in between the sleep to checked the clock..
and i managed to wake up by 5am..
i am excited... :)

615 we departed from Prai...
All the way...
kinda scary roaming along the deserted highway..with darkness engulfing us..
ya deserted.. not many car as i expected..
the traffic amazingly smooth..

We reached somewhere around Sintok/Kodiang at 730am..
the driver need to stop and buy insurance from a groceries shop..
we exchanged money there too..
which has a better rate as compare to penang..

We then having our 1st meal at "Thailand", chicken rice at Sadao at 9am.
The driver said its the best chicken rice in town and famous among the travellers...so must try..
well.. the verdict is.. ehem.. probably can compare to penang one..
but.. the driver forgotten that he is fetching passengers from Ipoh and Malacca..
So ... i gotta said we have different taste bud..Totally..
The shop is called Da Tong (大同),
a short distance after Sadao check point...

we were in center of Hatyai 30-40min later..
and thats where we started our first activity of the day..
shopping.. the pasar pagi...
i never thought i would do a lot of shopping there..
well... i think i enjoyed it much better as compare to bangkok..
hahahahaa

we went to visit temples, eating thai food,fate floating market and massage...
before we conclude the trip..
we savour ourself with Swensen Ice Cream and McDonald Port Burger..
Apparently my frens said.. Swensen there are cheaper and have more variaty..
there was once they spend all their money in Swensen..:)

The good thing is I enjoy the trip and we never stop action"ing"...
and we never waste the day... :)
we keep working, looking, eating, buying... :-p

and you will never believe this..
We came back with few boxes of instant noddle/Bee hoon/dong fen.. the famous MAMA..

and the best part is.. we just found out that...
the instant noddle life spam is actually very short..
6 months ONLY!!!
Thats's amazing.. can you believe it?

冒汗。

那人很凶似的望了下。
赶紧， 很匆忙的把手上仅吃一口的香蕉放在一旁。。

慢慢的他“拉”着motor出来。

“不是撞到会有声音吗？为什么没声音的？“
一直在“找”着声音。。

motor出来了，
phew..没有多一个人。。没有被人围。。
那人看一看他的 motor。。
再望一望，车子。。
很满意。。
就在他还末扬长而去之前，
还来得及打了个 “very good” 手势。。

受惊后，既然把爱车的情况给服略了。。
那个手势惊醒了梦中人。。
很不甘愿缓缓地打了指示灯。。
停到一旁看看。。

其实他不错， 好人， 还会跟着停下看看。
车，没事。。没事。。
擦伤了点。。
没大碍。。
都一样受惊了。。

life seems like coming to a stop..

i have been receiving messages and calls...
i am expecting some other call but sigh..

meeting with couple of strangers..
and they showed their interests..

with the overwhelm demand..
at once.. I broke my own promises..
a sinful decision..

room for rent

no i am not advertising here
nonetheless yes i have an empty room for rent..
it has been empty for the passed couple of months...

i aint 'desperately' wanna rent out the room nor if i dont wanna rent it out..
it is kinda very confusing.. i am..

i think i am phobia..
..in case i get a weird housemate..
if i 'temporary' can forget about the rental i paid...
which i think i can.. because it happen just beginning of the month ma..
i think i am kinda like it at the current state.. .
why not..
i have everything to myself..
i enjoy the "ownership" of the whole unit,
the space is belonged to me and only me most of the time.. shhh...
kinda freedom.. relax..
i walk here and there..
the whole sofa is mine, lie there reading...
blasting music like no body business...to find the source of peacefulness ..
you care less
..if the housemate like it not..
..if the housemate sleeping/studying not..
..if the woofer rock the floor..
no one listening but me.. ME..

i don know what else you wanna call it..
i just like it...

i think thats the 代价 (price) you need to pay...

i did put the adv out though..
first it attracted a malay guy ..
i think he was shocked to hear my voice..
instead he asked if i mind renting to a guy..
no offend, i just didnt ask if he mind staying with a bunch of char-siew lovers.....
i also not sure if religion officers will come and knock on my door not...
well, he didnt call back for viewing..

then an indian lady called..
i was thinking.. wow i really supporting 1 malaysia.. multi races
i didnt rent to her eventually because she unable to pay the deposit..

so the other day..
over a dinner a fren was surprised for this long i hasnt found a tenant yet..

he offered his help to put the ad on net..
i hesitated but i conceive, i accepted the offer..
he told me .. soon i will be instant superstar..
everyone will call me..

the problem with me is..
i will tempt to be very nice/honest..
i will tell the good things..
and i also will tell the bad things on the unit to the potential tenant..

well, it wont be that bad.. i have been staying here for long..
so too bad thats fact...
so this round i will zip and not talk unless being asked...

and to you and me..

Sushi Kitchen - Japanese Meatless Cafe

it was a coincident that yesterday i went to 2 places for meal
and both places have bicycles decorated in the cafe.

The wakame taste not bad... my housemate said it is better than the China served... without the soil smell..
i felt got sotong taste!!! :-p
The sushi is complementery from the boss... Nice too though meatless..
and the wasabi must be very fresh.. because i was choked!!

On saturday, Sushi Kitchen practice light off for an hour...
Very romantic ... )

Sweet Potatoes Noodles and Special Spicy Source Spaghetti
The Sweet Potatoes Noodle i think the soup is made from Potatoes cook with normal noodles.. a signature dish at Sushi Kitchen...
A 清淡dish... :)

The Spicy Source according to the little waitress.. it was not not always available.. well.. it sure special.. the source actually tasted a bit like otak-otak... :)

Need to mentioned... That pair of chopsticks is not just a normal one you can get it everywhere..
it is environmental friendly chopsticks, made by bran (米糠).. 生物降解稻糠筷
the life span is 6 months.. it will naturally dissolve with soil after dispose

The green tea is free flow (it is a tea bag) so free flow the hot water.. :)
There is a corner with collection of books beside the casher counter..
a lot of varieties.. most of the book not that you can finish reading within couple of hours :-p

but it is definite a nice environment for catch up..

if you felt not comfortable with the tatami style
there are couple of tables and chairs available..

there is a bike model (not show on pic) which cost about 4900RM.
Only 3 available in Malaysia... :)
Pay a visit there.. you will know which one..

LadyBag - Portable Lady Toilet

This is real interesting :)
Ladybag, mobile toilet for lady to solve your "kap jue". emergency problem.
It was invented by Germans.

Sound like all the females across the continent facing the issue of not enuff toilets or long q toilet issue.. :-p

To use this bag you can be in position of  "standing, sitting or squatting" .. :-p

Finally the price tag is RM63 for 3.
No.. I am not selling ... :-p
but i think this is good because "holding to pee" is bad for health.. haha

Okonomiyaki

okonomi == What you want. yaki == Grilled.
Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) == Japanese Pancake/ Pizza

I have my first okonomiyaki last year when during my last day in Tokyo.
My fren said. Must try!! And...

I like it... or should say I love it.
Since then I have been searching for it in Malaysia.
Sakae Sushi serve this dish. I tried.
But of coz the taste never come close to what I have in Odaiba.

Last week a fren of mine made it and its 'inspired' me to do so..

deng deng.... :)

Then Ingredient

2 eggs + Okonomiyaki flour = batter

mix batter +cabbage+carrot. slow fried at pan

Flip the batter... dont get burn

Heat with Bacon for a while...

garnish with topping , okonomiyaki sauce, Mayonnaise,Katsuo-bushi (dried bonito flakes) and green Onion

Ready to serve.... yum yum ^^

King of Fruits - Durian

I like durian… season..
I like to eat durian..
But I am not durian nut…
I can also do without durian..

I like durian season, I buy durian ..
It reminds me of my childhood durian season..
My family would get together at night and happily having the durian..
We enjoyed the durian and we chatted and joked..
Eating durian relate to happy moment..

You can see people who buy/sell durian they are happy after each purchase transaction.. (of coz pple who hate durian they don)
Whenever you see people eat durian they enjoy it..
they are happy…
and normally we enjoy the durian together with others people be it friends, family or strangers whose we bumped into each other..

we happily eating, aren't we durian lovers?
