My P4

My P4 die after 4.5 years
I bought it on 14 February 2004...what a lovely day ya..
My VERY FIRST personal computer..

7 days without PC..
trouble shoot for a few days..

Everynite I went back first thing I did was retart the PC to see if thre is any suprise..
Apparent nope...No display still..
I, surrender....
disassemble every single parts from the casing..
don know what to do with it..

It is Socket 478, AGP,SATA 1.........
Yes. I don know it is old...
everyone said it is old..
but it serves me well...
occasionally it gave me some troubles..
but i learnt to troubleshoot the pc ..

anyway, I think the MOBO die; or may be it could be the CPU.
The rest of the other components work well...

I was living in Telok for 3 years without PC. How amazing..
Move along this PC to Penang..
since then it company me everynite I stay in Penang.
It sound as though how boring the life in Penang huh ... :-p
That's why I cant imagine how bad Kulim could be...as compare to Telok. hahahahhaa (apparent a telok fren said it might be that bad..)

So now my options open...
1. replace the mobo if it is MOBO <200RM... (don laugh it is my first PC so quite memorable... =p)
2. build a new desktop
3. get a notebook
4. get a ready desktop..

very much wanna repair it..
but as of now pc getting cheaper (thats what everybody said)
RM1500 could get a quite decent desktop.(thats wat everyone said)

Bookfair

Went to Mega Popular Nothern Book Fair at One Stop with fren..

I was blur…looking at the books 眼花缭乱。。
The books are not properly arranged…
Either it is the way it is or I seldom go to book fair..
It just like mega sales…
All the clothes chuck inside big basket..
so you need to dig and drag to find the size you want or to get the color you like…
I looked at so many books.. so many alphabets.. Then A lot of stars dancing on top of my head..

Few hours in the book fair..
I picked up just 2 books…
Only until final hour before we planned to leave..
it is like suddenly something strike into my mind..
My mood came.. I started walked and walked around..
I started to realise that the books are cheap…
I started to look carefully..
scare I might have missed some good one.. (neither I know what is good anyway)…

Finally…. the end…

I was so happy.... high mood..
with the good bargain
I went to buy cheesecake..
Tot of buying one only..

then we tapao tau-hu-hua...

Hahahahhahaaa...after growing mushroom during merdeka eve
I decided to unleash myself...

my fren and I have Ba Kut Teh for lunch along gurney drive..
We have it at carnation ba kut teh shop..
A well-known eater Chai Lan 蔡瀾 have been there..
There is a big bill board stops in front of the shop with chai lan on it..
Ah hong from taiwan also been there…
Every time I pass by I saw a lot of pple.
So I decided to give it a try since i long never eat BKT.

what do i think about the carnation BKT?
mmmm…… so so nia… can be better..
The medicine taste not as strong…
My fren said at Jalan Mancalister, opposite red rock hotel there is one taste better..

After lunch we went to gurney plaza..
I have booked my movie ticket there…
oooppsss.. we were too optimistic..
rounded + stucked in the "car crowd" for 30 minutes..
gurney parking is full!!

so we decided to watch it at Prangin mall instead.
and I like prangin mall cinema…
after my first visit there for 10,000bc :-p

A boring saturday

大清早到菜巴刹溜达溜达。。
吃了最喜爱的 炒萝卜糕。。
兴高采烈的上班去。。。。 是的星期六我做工作。。
一星期被担搁下来的事。。。sigh..

到公司。。 培养情绪。。

开始了期望是好的开始。。

finally compile no error... restart service..
but doesnt appear as what i wanted it to be...
so debug again ......

this debug, compile, restart service..really wasting my time..
so start another application to do another project parallel...psoft

the screen so cacat.. all the fields misaligned..
I don knw what I have done yesterday made it become like...

Then I felt sian again..
