An Inconvenient Truth

A documentary about our climate change due to global warming.
This documentary is presented by US Vice President Al Gore.(only from this movie i learnt that he never was US president before.lol).

I have 'accidentally' watched the documentary over the weekend.
A friend of mine has asked my help to search for this film.
With free time I have. I watched.
I felt the show is different.
It sent a very strong message to the viewers on what is global warming and clearly evaluate the effect.

I don't know if it is exaggerated and erroneous, I think it tell the truth.
Something is happening to our environment.

I don't know if the film contained any politic or presidency campaign elements.
It is entertaining and very infomatic.
It is the awareness that count.
We aware of climate change, the effect to us and to other and to the future (underwater world/Ice age era?).
What can be done, responsibilities to rescue ourselves for being leaving underwater world or becoming ice age?(I don remember it mentioned what we can do, though..lol)

But i like the way that Gore shows 'the main culprit of global warming is Americans'.
He is very not "Americanised" I felt. lol

The film won the 2007 Academy Award for Documentary Feature.
Do watched if you are free.

大选 * 未雨绸缪

回家的路上，发现到好多修路工程。。

即有：

公司前面后面的路，coastal highway,

刚刚修完的 krystal point 前的大道，

我家门前的路看是美，却还留了一个更大的洞

我不尽想起了一句话。。。

“大选要到了。。政府在做路”

到了家。。guard house 的uncle说 “Ini notice penting sila baca"

白纸黑字 "Yang Berhormat xxx xx xxxx akan datang malam ini. 930pm 7/31/2007"：

我看了一头雾水。最后那一个名字很难拚，

我读了好多次，放弃了。名都忘了。

好像连时间都看错了。那么迟吗？

写得那么撩草看来没什么看头把。那是谁？

管我何事。。

可能看到我脸上印了莫名二字，guard house's uncle 解说：

"ini boleh adu tentang parking,boleh datang malam ini"

"ooooooooooo......"

我恍然大悟，

不是他是谁。。。

而大悟的是为何最近警察在我们这一区的 parking summon出得那么勤。

一天可以在六小时以内来发两次。

而我住了两年。

这两个月来中了两张。

可是我小人了吗？

或是无知的我（平民）

Penang Morning Traffic

1.The driver likes to stop in the middle of the road to buy breakfast during peak hours. Eventhough there are parking bays available at the road side. In this particular day i saw there were still plenty of parking lots available. The hawker owner shud have moved to a designated hawker center.This is causing crawl/stalled traffic.



2.Q cutting. There are a lot of pple like to do Q cutting at roundabout/traffic light area. The amazing part is there are pple allow them to "slice" in.



3. 4 lane roads will become 3 lanes. 2 lane roads become 1 lane.It is kinda normal in Penang since the land is scarce. So normally each side of road will automatically become parking bay. If not enought we will do double parking . So early morning during weekend while you still in your sweat dream you will awaken by the pi pi.

Among the 3 scenarios I show you only these scenario you hear the honk.

Ming Le Yuan (闽乐园）

Location: Jalan Tengah, Sg Ara. Opposite Pondok Police Sg Ara

Last Visit: 28 Jun, 07 Number of Visits: 1

I recommended Rangoon Road’s Wang Zhao Jun’s Sour and Spicy Fish Bee Hoon. Now here in Sg Ara also got one…I think it is tastier and nicer. Less spicy. It is a “zhu char” so far I have tried the soup and ho farn…the hor farn also nice and special. RM6/bowl for the bee hoon soup.

Of course it is about foods...what else...it might not be the best, most delicious, cheapest...but it could be the services as well.... could be the worst..

Location: Penang Free School Roundabout. 9pm if you are from Mcdonald. A blue color lorry park at the road side in front of the shoplots.

I actually can felt that the ta hu hua is very smooth. How amazing is that.

Asam Laksa

Location: Small village @ Batu Maong.

I hardly eat Asam Laksa in PG. However I eat more Asam Laksa before I came to Penang.

Now I think this is the best in Penang.

Wong Zhao Jun

Location: Rangoon Road

Specialties: Sour &spicy fish bee hun, steam fish hor fen, honey chicken & etc. Havent been visiting there for sometimes.

Fried Kwey Tiao

Near my house and it is not bad...the aunty is good too..=)

Penang Curry Mee

I normally will go to KL to eat Curry mee. I have phobia with Penang curry mee. But this has change my mind. It is actually quite nice. Every times I pass by there I saw long Q. I passed by there 3-4 times.

After I have tasted the Lebuh Chulia Curry mee. Now it motivate me to order. There are different. This stall serve the curry mee with curry chicken meet as well. And the meet very tender and tasty. Here also selling coklat air bandung

新爱妈妈

“嗨。。你是。。”

“你是从马鲁帝来的。。”

那是在我公司pantry里。。一个美好的早上。

Malaysia 27 mil 的人口而马鲁帝只有大约 7/8 千吧。

我们今天可算真的那么有缘。。

遇见的人不是青梅竹马；

但，是熟客。。也是以往两家人的“对手”。

我妈在学校里开挡，后来学校有canteen后，我妈开canteen.

而她家就住在学校篱笆边，令堂也顺理成章的在篱笆旁开启档来。

学校有canteen 后，canteen就建在她档子旁边。。

小时后的我，虽然家里也卖零食。

但有时候也会抓了零钱往“新爱妈妈”那跑。。

我们会叫“新爱妈妈买东西”，“新爱妈妈。。”。。

以她大姐的名来呼叫。。

我现在有时候在梦里也还会梦见我到她档子买东西情景。。。

真没想到她们没开挡子了。。家人也搬来一起住了。

我当时差点就漏口说“那我的梦该如何啊？”

感慨呐。。

Coklat Air Bandung

Last nite, I dinner at Kayu Restaurant. One of my favorite.

In a cheerful mood I ordered my drink, Air Bandung. (A kinda of drink mixture of red syrup and milk).

Just before the waiter went off.. I remembered Cindy told me before there is Ba Bou mix with milk very nice.

So I called the waiter for change. he got confused. He event don’t wanna understand when i want to explain. He called his colleague. I was laughing at the corner. May be they though I was insane. It took them quite long to decide who should come and serve me.

So, now new waiter come.

I asked. “Ada jual air bandung warna coklat?”

He replied “Milo?”

I was actually very, very amused on his replied.I think he realised that...he also smiling happily.

I said no no… not milo…”Air bandung biasanya warna” I was searching for the word pink in malay.

He replied “Merah”

“Ya merah…. Tapi ada air bandung warna coklat tapi bukan milo?”

He shook his head….”Milo ada”

OKOK nevermind…I take normal air bandung then.
