What I did at BKK
Thursday
- arrived at 8pm take taxi to suk11 (400b)
- Taxi coupon can be bought outside of the airport
Friday
- 1. china town/grand palace & emerald temple(i think 250b)/standing Buddha /wat pho(50b)/wat arun (50b)
- 2. Sukhumvit-china town (tuktuk 40b)
- 3. chinatown - Grand Palace (tuktuk 30b)
- 4. Grand Palace – Standing Buddha-Wat Pho (tuk tuk 50b)
- 5. Wat Arun Jetty (15b CHEATED) only 3b/person!
- We were ffked by tuk tuk on item 4.First tuk tuk A brought us to standing Buddha-Jewelry Center1 -Jewelry Center 2. At Jewelry center 2 he asked us to on board his friend tuktuk. Without hesitated we follow. The fren stopped us at one of the back alley. Told us the temple was at the end of the alley. We walked and found that was standing Buddha not wat pho.We came back out we found the tuk tuk already ran away. We havent paid but call another tuk tuk cost us 50b to Wat Pho
- Ferry to Wat Arun (free). Wat Arun come back shud be only 3b. PS didnt realize she paid her 30b. sigh
Saturday
- Jatujak Market. After tired with tuk tuk trick we decided to spend each 45b to take skytrain to Mo Chit station.
- After that 100b taxi from Jatujak to Platinium (wholesale center)
- Then we went Thai massage 350b/2hr
Sunday
- 6am to floating market (1300b)
- The taxi driver brought us to Jetty (kinda a tour agency). For the sack that never been to floating market he claimed that the price of 300b/boat was long time ago and it is taxi boat price. We have no choice but paid the 1500b for the boat ride. So if you take taxi make sure they bring you into market itself where you can use paddle boat which is cheaper unless you want motor boat.
- We cancel Tiger Temple trip since we not happy the taxi driver
- We end up shopping for the rest of the day at MBK Center, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Paragon
- At night we went Suam Luan night bazaar
Monday
- Too tired.
- Bye bye

BKK III - Suk11 The One
It is worth the value and recommended but some comment I have to share.
They only confirm my reservation 2 hours before I fly throught email (obviously I wont be there to see my email by then).
I got help from a fren to call them for confirmation.
According to my fren the receptionist which is a lady is rude!
This remark kinda uncommon for Thai pple I wud say because to me Thailander possess a friendly and soft spoken nature.
Even they cheated me but I will agree generally they are polite.
Suk11 is a conveniece place to stay.
Opposite is Ambassador Hotel and Grand President Hotel.
Plenty of taxis and tuk tuk and skytrain just less than 5 minutes away by foot.
Asoke station(interchange with subway) about 10 min away walking.
Hawker stalls, restaurants, pubs, clubs are also available within walking distance.
Massage centers, spa centers just few streets down the road. or There even got one next to Suk11.
In front of suk11 there is a 7-11.
There is Villa Market open 24 hours.
Tour agency are near by...etc etc....
Isnt that what you are looking for to stay?
hahahaha...
no no...i didnt earn any commission from them to come out all these.... =p
It is hidden behind some "bush"
We were having hard time to locate Suk11 when we arrived at nite.
When we first walked in we face another difficulty to find the reception counter. =p
Then we walked up the dense stair case with the writting all over the wall.
Then I saw the tri-cycle on third floor..and walk throught the corridor to find my room..It looks a bit scary actually.
Anyway after a while I got use of it..and I like it.
This is ART people!! =p
The room is simple and clean.
They prepare us simple breakfast.
While I was enjoying the breakfast I saw "mural" of Malaysia Flag with "MALAYSIA BOLEH" written on top... =p.
There is a note hanging next to the counter. Written
- No drug
- No visitor at guestroom
- SEX TOURIST NOT WELCOME
- SMOKING IN GUESTROOM US A CRIME
haha...kinda cute.

BKK II - Santika The Best
Think about Bangkok, it reminds me of Santika. haha.....
It is absolutely ROCK, FANTASTIC & SUPERD 1 hour (especially).
Bangkok trip no regret with the visit to Santika. So ..
Who is Santika?
What is Santika?
Duh..Santika is a club.
1 hour refers to its "euphoric" live
Live band starts to perform at 2330 non stop 1 hour.
In fact i wanna say dont miss Santika Club live band performance when you visit to Bangkok. =)
An important message I brought to you. =p
Some how I realised why people like to go clubbing..
hahaha....

BKK I - Lesson Learnt
To share:
1) No $ no talk, bring just enuff $$
2)Shop till you drop
3) Dont be greedy
4) A pair of good & comfortable shoes is ESSENTIAL
5) Think about shopping in Thailand, think about if you are compulsive buyer
6) Know your price, know what you want
7) If you don't have thing in mind to buy you tend to get tired very easily
8) Thailander make a good sale person and they seem born to be
9) Don't be too sympathetic
10) Be a better/clever consumer and tourist
11) Thailander are nice, polite and soft spoken even they are 'operating' on you ..so be nice no matter what...
12) Never ever feel that you are being cheated but learnt from what you have paid and share with others.
A reminder:
Malaysia economy need your contribution too =))

Stamps.Ebay
Receiving good is a happy moment.
I enjoyed.
Even though it is not free.
Lately I bought some stamps from ebay.
Last month I received a few parcels sending across the ocean by the ebay seller.
I am very happy.
Unsure if the feeling is due to the virtual trust we built or the good that I received.
Anyway...
I bought 400gm world mix stamp and 1000pc QEII stamps and a few first day covers.
You might not realised I have the hobby of collecticing stamps. I was when i was kid not now.
But this is all for my dad. He is collecting stamps/FDC.
He is a retiree now.
So I hope that he can continue doing somethings which I hope he like and enjoy on the amount of free time he has now.
I think with the above amt of stamps he can recollect his time sorting out these colorful stamp from different countries.
I got my first hand sorting the stamps according the continent eg: West/East Europe, West/East Asia, Africa, South/center/north america.
It was fun. I was sorting while monitoring my games.=p
My housemate helped me to sort as well. Imagine 400gm, it was a lot a lot.
I finished sorting over the weekend. Discovering more countries I never heard of. eg Burkini Faso, forkland island and etc
Anyway as you can see i have a lot of duplicate if you are interested to exchange, feel free to msg me......=p
